FCSN held folk dance Atan in FR DI Khan

FRs Civil Society Network (FCSN)

FRs Civil Society Network (FCSN) held a festival of ATAN, a local and folk dance in Drazinda FR DI Khan the other day. A large number of the dancers and participants took part in this Pashtun traditional dance.
The festival was arranged by FCSN with support of SPO for the promotion of peace through this traditional dance. People who were present on the occasion were amused and applauded the effort of the FCSN for promotion of peace through this dance. Such activities were often held in the previous times when the situations were normal and peaceful. These types of the traditional dances have played a great role in promotion of peace in a Pashtun society and even today it can play the role. The dancers were mostly students and youngsters who performed enthusiastically and they performed so well that the participants were surprised. People who were present on the occasion demanded of SPO like organizations to support such like activities for a constructive society where peace prevails and people get satisfied by acting upon their age old peaceful traditional songs and dances.
